How to Prepare for Boudoir Session

-
Lock in the date: Coordinate early.
-
Set up the shooting spot ahead - choose a room with great lighting/windows and comfortable temperature. Put any clutters away and leave only the items you'd want to be in the images. If you'd like outdoor location, make sure you make decision ahead - preferably a private or hidden spot where you can feel free to pose and change.
-
Plan your outfits: Prepare and choose your attire ahead - be sure they will make you comfortable during the shoot (tried them on first is always a good idea). Contrary to what most people may think - while lingerie is the main attire you would want to choose, boudoir can also be done tastefully and beautifully in robes, shoulder-dropped top, or a nice throw.
-
Confirm the location: Double-check where we’re meeting and allow time for parking or travel.
-
List your must-have shots: Write down the ideas or poses you’d love to include so nothing is missed.
-
Stay relaxed: Come early and ready to enjoy the experience - natural smiles and candid moments often make the best photos.
